We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our SaaS DevOps team. In this role, you'll drive the infrastructure and orchestration behind our SaaS offering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and cloud-native operations in Azure. As a senior individual contributor, you'll scale, secure, and operate our cloud-native services while promoting automation, reliability, and observability across the stack.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade Kubernetes environments in the cloud, ensuring high availability and scalability
  • Partner with R&D on architectural design discussions, translating feature and product plans into concrete DevOps/cloud architecture and driving it from design through implementation
  • Apply GitOps practices (e.g., Argo CD or equivalent) to manage and automate deployments, and maintain cloud networking, load balancing, and observability tooling (primarily Coralogix)
  • Collaborate within a Scrum team, using Jira and the Atlassian stack for planning, tracking, and documentation
  • Share on-call rotation for production support (PagerDuty or equivalent)
  • Serve as the team's go-to technical resource, sharing best practices and mentoring less experienced engineers

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in cloud-native environments, with strong hands-on Kubernetes experience across the full lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience managing containerized applications (Docker, OCI) in production
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid experience with cloud infrastructure, including cloud architecture, networking, and system reliability
  • Proven ability to lead architectural design discussions with R&D, present the resulting architecture to relevant stakeholders, and drive it end-to-end from design through execution (Experience with Azure is an advantage)
  • Ability to write and understand code (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Customer-centric mindset: treats internal stakeholders (developers, product) as customers and holds a high bar for technical and communication service
  • Comfortable operating in a production on-call rotation
  • Hands-on use of AI coding and reasoning tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, and similar) in real production work - using them to ship faster and to higher quality, not just to experiment
  • Experience working in a SaaS startup company - an advantage
